This is the most beautiful Basilica in the world. Definitely get tickets beforehand, the line is not worth the wait (hundreds of people long). The tickets don’t sell out, we bought ours the night before. If you’re going to the dome, bring a smaller backpack, the stairs get cramped. The dome is worth it, just know it’s about 700 steps with little to no breaks without holding everyone up. The audio guide is free on your phone and worth listening too. If your catholic, weekday mass is held in the morning about every hour. Just ask a curator, they will direct you. The statues are HUGE and stunning. The marble work is spectacular and the mosaics are amazing. Words and photos barely describe it. Such a blessing to be able to visit.

Breathtaking building, pictures do not do it justice this is a must see in Rome, one of the the most beautiful buildings in the world. From the artwork and sculptures to the stunning architecture of the domes. Would recommend the fast track tickets as with most places in Rome but once inside just look around and admire in awe.

Saint Peter’s Basilica was one of the most breathtaking places I have ever visited. The architecture, artwork, and attention to detail are truly extraordinary. Walking inside was an unforgettable experience, with stunning sculptures, beautiful mosaics, and an incredible sense of history and spirituality. The view from the dome is absolutely worth it and offers a spectacular panorama of Rome. A must-see landmark for anyone visiting the city.

Visiting St. Peter's Basilica was truly breathtaking and one of the highlights of our trip. There were lots of visitors, but surprisingly it never actually felt crowded once inside due to the sheer scale of the basilica. The space is so vast that you can still take everything in and move around comfortably. That said, don’t expect to get in at your exact booked time slot. We still waited around three hours in line, so be prepared and plan accordingly. However, it was absolutely worth the wait. Make sure you climb to the dome — the views over Rome are incredible and give you a wonderful perspective of the city. An unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Visiting St. Peter's Basilica was truly a dream come true. The Basilica is breathtaking, with magnificent architecture, stunning religious artwork and symbolism, and a profound sense of history throughout. It was an unforgettable experience. I have read extensively about Church history over the years, but being inside St. Peter's Basilica felt completely different. It was as if the pages of history had come to life before my eyes. Seeing in person what I had only read about in books made the visit deeply meaningful and inspiring. I highly recommend visiting if you have the opportunity. One practical tip, consider purchasing a ticket or guided entry option in advance to avoid the extremely long lines of visitors waiting for free entry. It can save a significant amount of time and make the experience ever more enjoyable. An absolutely beautiful and memorable visit.
